JOB DESCRIPTION

DTC is expanding its offerings with a Special Projects Division and a Home Care Program. We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial leader to oversee and grow  these divisions, ensuring exceptional service, operational excellence, and long-term client satisfaction. This role requires a unique blend of construction expertise, project  management experience, and client-focused leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Division Leadership & Growth 

  • Lead and grow the Special Projects Division and Home Care Program as  complementary business lines, taking a hands-on role in day-to-day execution. 

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, client engagement, and  brand positioning, while actively contributing to project delivery.

  • Establish operational frameworks, leveraging internal teams and third-party  vendors, and personally ensure quality standards are upheld. 

Project & Service Oversight 

  • Take an active, hands-on role in planning, design, and execution of remodels,  additions, bespoke upgrades, and maintenance programs. 

  • Execute or supervise work directly as needed, ensuring all projects meet DTC’s  high standards for craftsmanship, aesthetics, and functionality. 

  • Monitor P&O performance and project budgets to maintain profitability while  ensuring client satisfaction. 

Client Relationship Stewardship 

  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for clients enrolled in Special Projects  or Home Care services. 

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships by being a visible, accessible presence  in projects and home care services. 

  • Provide high-touch, personalized service by engaging directly in client meetings,  site visits, and problem-solving. 

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Source, vet, and manage third-party contractors and service providers, ensuring quality, reliability, and seamless integration.

  • Actively participate in project execution with vendors and internal teams, troublshooting and resolvoing issues on-site.

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Source, vet, and manage third-party contractors and service providers, ensuring  quality, reliability, and seamless integration.

Financial Management & Reporting 

  • Establish budgets, pricing models, and financial oversight for all projects and  service plans. 

  • Track and report on key metrics including revenue, P&O margins, project  performance, and client satisfaction. 

  • Provide the CEO with actionable insights and recommendations for operational  improvement and strategic growth. 

Operational Excellence 

  • Implement and maintain scalable systems and processes, ensuring consistency  across projects. 

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, personally  auditing key elements of project execution. 

  • Continuously identify areas for improvement and take a hands-on role in  implementing solutions. 

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering,  Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 

  • 8+ years of experience in high-end residential construction, project management,  or luxury home services, with hands-on execution experience. 

  • Proven track record managing and executing complex remodels, additions, or  bespoke projects. 

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to deliver  high-quality outcomes. 

  • Strong financial acumen, including budget management, P&O oversight, and  revenue forecasting. 

  • Expertise in home systems, finishes, smart home technology, and luxury materials.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

DTC offers a competitive total compensation package for the full-time Special Projects and Home Care Program position, which includes a starting annual salary range of $100,000-$120,000 and eligibility for a project bonus of 1.5% of completed project valuation. This position receives a comprehensive benefits package including medical and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with a 4% employer match, phone reimbursement, tool allowance, and two weeks of PTO and five paid holidays, valued at $16,025-$17,979 in the first year.
